
Returns Policy
At Sheds2Fencing, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If a product does not meet your expectations, we offer a straightforward returns policy for online orders within the UK. Please review the details below to ensure a smooth return process.Â
Return Terms
Goods that are surplus, unsuitable, or ordered incorrectly may be returned by the Buyer within 14 days of collection/delivery at their own cost. A refund, minus a 20% restocking charge and a £3.00 administrative fee, will apply if goods are returned in a saleable condition with all packaging and components intact. If not, the refund amount may be reduced accordingly.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt. However, return costs are the responsibility of the Buyer. If Goods are found damaged upon return due to the Buyer’s fault, the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
All refunds are subject to a flat £3.00 administrative fee.
Return Timeframe
If you wish to return an item, you have 14 days after the date your order is collected or arrives at the requested delivery address (in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Goods must be returned to us in Costessey, Norwich. We do not offer a collection service.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:
The product must be unused and in its original, re-saleable condition.
Custom-made or bespoke items are non-returnable, this includes but not limited to: Garden buildings, gates or anything thats been cut to size.
Concrete products cannot be returned due to weight restrictions.
Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Perishable items, such as Postmix or cement are not eligible for return.
If the returned item meets these criteria, we will process the return and issue a refund within 14 working days of receiving the product.
Refunds
All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout.
Order Cancellations
We understand that plans may change, and we strive to be flexible. If you need to cancel your order, we require at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled delivery. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of delivery, a 10% fee will apply.
Timber Characteristics Not Covered by Returns Policy
Due to the natural properties of timber used in our sheds, fencing and garden products, minor imperfections may develop over time. These do not compromise the integrity of the product and are not covered under our returns policy. These include:
Small splits or cracks that can occur naturally or during installation.
Warping over time due to environmental conditions.
Knots or small chips in timber (can be repaired with wood glue if necessary).
Sap residue on the timber surface.
Natural colour variations in pressure-treated timber.
Expansion and contraction causing minor gaps due to seasonal changes.
